Hi all, I hope you are well. How about your weekend? Is it fun? This weekend, I finished reading my book. I read Psychology of Money. Why did I buy the book? It seems very interesting to be able to manage finances and get a new understanding of finance. One thing I like about the book, it emphasizes to all of us not to compare ourselves to others in managing finances. I divided it into several things—three things I like in this book.
There are many black-and-white pictures between human relations and the money that is generated. This book explains that some people fail to manage their finances. There are many stories of entrepreneurs peeled in the book—especially entrepreneurs who make investments. There are good stories, but there are also many failure stories for me to learn. Not only among entrepreneurs. Start discussing among businesses, employees, investors, and others. In addition, there are musings by Morgan Housel in this book.
This book explains human emotions that can affect the treatment of money. This of course has to do with wealth. Some people know the things that must be done. Muldao from working according to passion, and a supportive environment to flexible time. Wealth is not only interpreted by numbers. But a long-term perspective to manage risk wisely.
In this book, it is also explained if sustainable wealth can be built with several things. Such as discipline, patience, and wisdom. The author also provides an overview of psychological factors that influence financial management. What are the psychological images that influence? Fear, greed to instant gratification.
This book it is also explained a simple problem, namely maintaining mental health. We need to learn to lose and fail. And take lessons from the past. The most important thing is not to speculate on the future. One morning, the simple life needs to understand fake riches and real riches. The book takes a realistic and honest approach from the author's experience.
