📓 "88 орнаментів кімоно" - книга авторки Тетяни Вовк, колекціонерки кімоно та засновниці KimonoUA (клуб поціновувачів японського одягу). Перекладачка з японської: Ольга Брильова. Книга вийшла друком в українському сходознавчому видавництві "Сафран" ("Safran") у 2021 році.
Ця книга - про кімоно. Традиційний одяг японців, який має для них величезне значення. Мабуть, це щось на кшталт нашої вишиванки, але це не точно. Кімоно є найбільш упізнаваною родзинкою японської культури. Ця річ коштовна, сповнена символів та несе справжню мистецьку цінність для власника. В японців є традиція одягати кімоно в певні періоди життя, крім того, кімоно - це завжди вдалий вибір для вбрання на різноманітні заходи (концерт, урочистості, театр, вечірка).
Кімоно - більше, ніж одяг. І саме зміст орнаментів кімоно будемо розглядати у цій книзі.
Мені завжди було цікаво, аби у виробах, одязі, аксесуарах був зашифрований певний зміст. І саме це ми побачимо в кімоно: наскільки різноманітним воно може бути і що можна на ньому побачити.
Книга поділяється на 5 основних розділів (окрім передмови та розділу "Про команду":
- Геометричні орнаменти;
- Рослинні орнаменти;
- Зооморфні орнаменти;
- Природні орнаменти;
- Предметні орнаменти.
Із назв розділів зрозуміло, що саме буде в кожному з них. Цікавим є те, що на кожній сторінці книги є перекладені хайку Кобаяші Ісси. А фотографії тканин у розділах - світлини з приватних колекцій Тетяни Вовк, Катерини Зотової, Катерини Кісельової.

📓 "88 kimono ornaments" - a book by Tatiana Vovk, kimono collector and founder of KimonoUA (Japanese clothing connoisseurs club). Translator from Japanese: Olga Brylova. The book was published by the Ukrainian oriental publishing house Safran in 2021.
This book is about a kimono. Traditional Japanese clothing, which is of great importance to them. Kimono is the most recognizable highlight of Japanese culture. This thing is precious, full of symbols and has a real artistic value for the owner. The Japanese have a tradition of wearing a kimono in certain periods of life, in addition, the kimono is always a good choice for dressing for various events (concert, celebrations, theater, party).
Kimono is more than clothes. And it is the content of kimono ornaments that we will consider in this book.
It has always been interesting to me that certain content is encrypted in products, clothes and accessories. And this is what we will see in the kimono: how diverse it can be and what you can see on it.
The book is divided into 5 main sections (except for the preface and the section "About the team"):
- Geometric ornaments;
- Floral ornaments;
- Zoomorphic ornaments;
- Natural ornaments;
- Subject ornaments.
From the names of the sections it is clear what will be in each of them. It is interesting that on each page of the book there are translated haiku by Kobayashi Issy. And the photos of fabrics in the sections are photos from the private collections of Tatiana Vovk, Kateryna Zotova, Kateryna Kiselyova.
