Interesting. I watched two videos the other day about Hemingway, his life and writing. It talked about his experiences in the war but I don't think it fully took into account the impact of those experiences and how that might have played out through the rest of his life.
Hemingway is a writer that I return to when I'm sad, after a loss or bereavement, I have a natural longing to read him (also Graham Greene and Jean Rhys). I ordered, only this morning, a copy of A Moveable Feast, after a couple of days in Paris myself, I look forward to reading it.
