Halo book worm...
I read the second book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series on the fourth day after the first. My reading speed increased significantly during this series. As I mentioned, everything in the book was vividly visualized through the films. It was like I was running a projector in my head while reading the first book.
The second book also didn't have many pages. I also read as fast as the first book. It took me just four days to finish it. If you say it could be faster, well, it could be if you didn't have to work and do anything else besides reading. It could even be done in one day, right?
Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secret
Harry's adventures began again in his second year. This time, he was picked up by the Weasleys, Ron—his best friend from first year, and Fred and George Weasley—in a flying car. This was because the Dursleys had forbidden Harry from returning to Hogwarts. After Harry's return that summer, the Dursleys became more cautious, as Harry threatened them if they were unfair to him again. Harry even had his own large room, though it used to be Dudley's playroom. After a brief altercation with Uncle Vernon, Harry was finally picked up by Ron and his twin brothers at their home, the Burrow. That day was the day they were going to Diagon Alley to prepare for the new school year and for Ginny, Arthur and Molly Weasley's youngest child, to be with them in her first year.
Something strange happened when Ron and Harry were about to enter platform 9 3/4, and they both crashed into the platform. As a result, having missed the Hogwarts Express, Ron and Harry recklessly rode Mr. Weasley's flying car to school. Despite the difficulties, Ron and Harry finally arrived at Hogwarts with scratches from the Willow Tree—where they stopped—going berserk.
On a quiet day of studying, a terror suddenly threatens muggle-borns and half-bloods. The terror occurs because a secret chamber containing a monster is opened and attacks muggle-born and half-blood students. It is said that the monster exists because one of Hogwarts' founders, Salazar Slytherin, did not want the wizarding school they built to be open to Pure-Bloods. The chamber was built in secret and is filled with terrifying creatures. The Golden Trio, Harry, Ron, and Hermione have a high level of curiosity, continuing to find out about the creature and how it has frozen several students.
The continuation of the story… of course the audience of Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets knows it.
In this second book, I want to discuss the differences between the book and the film. In the book, the story is very complete and detailed. I really liked the fight between Arthur Weasley and Lucius Malfoy which was not shown in the film. It was one of the most exciting parts. In the book, there were many other parts that were not shown, such as Nearly Headless Nick's birthday, even the character Peeves was not there. Even though it would have been fun if that character had been there. Also, in the film, the bond between Dobby and Harry was less touching. While in the book, it was truly heartwarming. No wonder so many fans have regretted Dobby's departure. I didn't feel related because in the film, Dobby was nothing more than a nuisance.
The same goes for Ginny Weasley, who suddenly finds herself imprisoned in the Chamber of Secrets. Everything is told in great detail and filled with the laws of cause and effect. I've really enjoyed reading the Harry Potter books lately, and they've made me like Ron Weasley—my favorite character—even more.
At the end I give this book 5 star from 5 star: Challenging...
Hasta La Vista...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
