Hello Book Lovers..
It's been a while since this book on my list of books to read for a long time, because one of my friends recommended it to me, I finally read this book too. I accidentally found this book in the digital national library or Ipusnas when I was about to suggest a free book reading platform to a junior in my office. She had just told me that she had just bought a book at a very cheap price, almost 70% off the normal price of the book.
I immediately identified the book as a pirated book. I immediately said to her, "why didn't you ask me first? It's clearly a pirated book, just look at it when it arrives, the paper must be blurry."
Then I told her that it's better to read books through a free platform managed by the government. That is Ipusnas, where currently popular books are also there. Of course you have to queue, but at least you don't act arbitrarily to the author who has sacrificed a lot to write the book, and when the book is published, the royalties are not much. The price of books is expensive because of the expensive printing costs.
Wow, this has become a very long discussion. That’s because I am clearly against book piracy and would rather not read than read pirated books. That’s my form of solidarity with the author.
Back to this novel, I learned about this novel from my friend who may have been at her lowest point and she started her depression journey by reading this book. While I read this book to broaden my insight into mental health issues as well as for research material for the novel I’m working on, although there are no new chapters I can write yet.
Let’s talk about Loving The Wound Soul by Regis Machdy.

This book has 6 parts, each of which discusses things related to depression that refer to the author's personal experience and research by several foreign authors. This book has a very complete explanation by providing knowledge about what depression is, where it comes from, what is called depression, who can experience it, what triggers it, and what can be done to overcome it. You don't need to find out the foreign terms discussed because the author has completed them.
From this book I understand more terms from mental issues and how our bodies can biologically also affect the symptoms of depression, or vice versa, how depression can affect the symptoms of physical illness.

This book focuses on understanding depression itself in depth, while for healing, the author only does common methods such as going to a psychiatrist. Different from the book about mental issues that I read before where the author's focus was more on healing. In the book Loving the Wound Soul, the author seems to emphasize that we should not deny the depression that we experience.
Thanks in advance guys, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
