Hi hive book club, my first post on Hive so thank you for having me here! Kazuo Ishiguro is one of my favourite authors, Never Let Me Go, one of his previous book is in my top 10 books ever, so of course I was excited for his new one & it didn't disappoint. His books are always beautifully written but are also full of deep questions & observations. Its kinda sci-fi but grounded & above all its about love.
It is hard to say too much about this book without giving too many spoilers but it is a lovely read/listen! Although it touches on grief it is actually both uplifting and soothing.
I listened to this on audible & thankfully the narrator was great too, sometimes the wrong narrator can ruin a book for me. I love reading physical books too but due to lockdown all the bookshops are closed. (very much looking forward to them opening soon (fingers crossed!)
My rating for this book is 9/10 read it now!
