It's the same everywhere. The younger generation are fucked. Back in my day people started saving for a mortgage deposit as soon as they got their first job. Everyone I knew had bought a house by their early twenties — that was just normal. Now that's out of the question and everyone lives with their mother.
As for CGT I've never paid a penny. I'd rather gouge out my eyes with sticks.
