Plant Power (Vegan)
Hello friends, everyone, hive and food lovers
hello everyone, come back with me on this occasion, I want to share a post about klepon, actually if we talk about klepon, it's never ending, because this market snack is a legendary cake which is unique in my opinion.
why do I say unique, because the shape of this cake is already nice, round and covered with grated coconut, what is no less unique is the klepon filling, where if the klepon enters the mouth the brown sugar filling will gush out, this is a unique sensation. unique isn't it?
The texture of the klepon itself is that it has a chewy texture because it uses glutinous rice flour and it also has a sweet taste, so this is the right combination for unique food lovers. Apart from that, here I want to make red klepon, usually klepon is identical to green.
Ingredients for making red klepons:
enough red dye
100 grams of grated coconut
brown sugar to taste
150ml warm water
2 pandan leaves
(1) The first step is to take 200 grams of sticky rice flour, then 150 ml of water, then add a little red coloring and slowly pour in the water, then knead until it forms a dough that is not too soft.
(2) next take a little dough then round the dough and make a hole then add enough brown sugar, here I use brown sugar that has been combed so I don't need to comb it, round it until it's all gone
(3) after that, prepare 250 ml of plain water then heat it and add 2 pandan leaves as aromatics, then put the mixture with brown sugar into the cooking water until the klepon expands, which is a sign that it is cooked and can be removed
(4) After that, steam the grated coconut using a little salt and sugar for about 10 minutes and also add pieces of pandan leaves as aromatics.
(5) then coat the cooked klepon with grated coconut then spread it evenly until the entire surface of the klepon is covered with grated coconut, then the red klepon is ready
That's all my post this time, I hope you like the red klepon recipe that I shared, and don't forget to try this recipe, friends,
See you in the next post, friends
