come back with me on this occasion I want to share a sweet snack that I made especially for my husband because this was his favorite snack as a child, namely purple sweet potato porridge, brown sugar.
This porridge is the same as normal porridge, only I replaced the granulated sugar here with brown sugar so the taste is a little different from porridge in general.
I often see brown sugar porridge served in several typical Javanese stalls. Where I live, brown sugar porridge is very rarely prepared, but this time my husband asked me to make brown sugar purple sweet potato porridge for him.
Ingredients used to make brown sugar purple sweet potato porridge:
300grams green beans
300 grams purple sweet potato
2 sachets of coconut milk
3 pandan leaves
how to make :
(1) The first step is to peel the skin of the purple sweet potato first, then wash it clean. After that, cut the purple sweet potato according to taste. Here I cut it into cubes and set it aside for a while.
(2) and then prepare 500ml of mineral water then cook the green beans and add 3 pandan leaves, green beans that have been soaked overnight. The purpose of soaking is so that the cooking process of the green beans doesn't take long because the soaked green beans will expand by themselves.
(3) After that, add a little salt to the boiled green beans, then after the green beans are a little cooked, add the purple sweet potato that was cut earlier and cook until the purple sweet potato is cooked.
(4) and also add 2 sachets of coconut milk then stir well, don't forget to stir so that the coconut milk doesn't break later and add 1 piece of brown sugar and cook until the brown sugar melts completely and all the ingredients are cooked perfectly
and Tara's purple sweet potato porridge, ready to be enjoyed cold, is very delicious
