I am not a professional photographer I use my mobile to save my work one hand working and one hand making photos so some photos might not be as clear as I hoped. my husband is a busy guy. This time I am lucky he took my one photo of food-making. So here is a mostly one-woman show. Here is my entry or recipe for this contest Nuts about Nuts.
NUTTY PRETTY HEART
Main ingredient:
400-gram walnuts.As the main ingredient.
Ingredients:
400 grams / 2 cups walnuts
3/4 cup cashew nuts
6 dried figs soaked in water.
1/2 cup almond peeled and sliced we get this type in the shop.
20-gram date paste
2 pinches of salt
1/3 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup soaked walnut paste. Soon I will put this recipe in the community.
10+8 strawberries.
2 tbsp sugar
some mint leaves
1 cm ginger
1/2 tsp lemon zest.
I have oil and peanut butter but I didn't use it because the walnut release lot of oil after I blend it.
Washed 1 cup walnut and soaked it in the water for 1 hour.
1 cup of walnut is roasted in the pan without oil.
After roasting them crushed them with stone this procedure for taking away the walnut peels.
Add the walnut cashew nut and almonds to the food processor.
I used half of the cashews and almonds.
Drain water from figs and chopped figs into small pieces. and date mash paste. keep it ready to use in the mixture.
First, in a food processor make a coarse powder from all the nuts. then add the powder from oatmeal (using a coffee grinder made the powder from oatmeal with 2 pinches of salt)
when it is blended properly add the figs and date paste.
here is the mixture of our nuts. I was using baking paper in the mold to make a proper shape. afterward, I turned it upside down.
Now use the clear film in the heart shape cake mold and press our nut mixture in it using the steel cup or glass bottom.
making strawberry sauce for the pink heart.
Clean and cut 8-10 strawberries and put them in the mixer. add sugar, mint, ginger, lemon zest, and walnut paste. blend it until it all together.
pour the mixture on our nutty hearts. spread it evenly. and keep in the freezer until the strawberry sauce becomes firm.
now for the plain strawberry sauce.
I cut more strawberries wanted to use for decoration but after finished with walnuts I dropped using strawberries.
Meanwhile, make a red sauce from strawberries.
Using around 7-8 strawberries. cut in the halves add just 1 tsp sugar and blend it in a smooth paste cook it for 2-3 minutes. our red sauce is ready.
the heart becomes strong now we take it out from the freezer. and pour the red sauce on it
Now decorating with walnuts.
And here is our nutty pretty heart with many walnuts so now here is not only heart matter but also brain matter. because you people know the walnuts are not just any nut it is also a brain tonic. helps you think clearer, helps to sharpen
memory increases your concentration. Your brain is largely made up of fat, which means that it needs healthy fats, contained in walnut, as well as cashew also. cashew is good for the heart, lowers bad cholesterol, and boosts bone health. almond coconut both are anti-oxidants, promote cell health, heart health/reduce bad cholesterol, good for skin and hair health, sharpen the brain, good food boost for a diabetic. And strawberries are antioxidant,vit. C rich, prevent vision, tone skin, regulate blood pressure, reduce bad cholesterol, weight management food, and promote prenatal care.
