I made some brittles using pumpkin sunflower seeds, coconut, and jaggery. for publishing in the vegan community. But I found the fun in the process and even created an entry for a photo quest theme by photoquest. Bubbles It's true, sometimes we find interesting things in our everyday routine that we didn't expect.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sunflower seeds slightly dry roasted
1/2 cup desiccated coconut.slightly dry roasted.
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds slightly dry roasted
1/2 cup jaggery
1/4 tsp coconut oil.
Brush coconut oil on a stainless steel plate.
Cut jaggery into small pieces.
Put it in the pan
Add 1 tbsp water, place the pan on a stove start cooking on low heat.
When jaggery melts it starts forming bubbles.
After the syrup is cooked for 4-5 minutes make the syrup test by putting a few drops in the cold water, if the syrup becomes hard then it is done.
Close the heat and add seeds and coconut which are slightly dry-roasted.
Mix them well.
Press the mixture on a greased plate, while it is warm.
cut any desired shape I cut in a diamond shape.
The flitters' snacks are ready. They are good for any time snacks healthy, full of nutrients, easy to make, and delicious.
Enjoy.
