Hello, food lovers greetings. Greetings community and all hivers today presenting a nice delicious recipe made by the bitter gourd. Called Bharleli Karli stuffed bitter gourd.
The mean ingredient is the bitter gourd 6 pieces.
ingredients for stuffing:
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
2 tbsp roasted peanuts
2 tbsp dried grated coconut
2 tbsp roasted gram
1.2 tsp ginger garlic green chili paste
4-5 tsp oil
salt.
First washed the bitter gourd thoroughly. cutting from the middle make sure all seeds clearly come out. discard the seeds
the cut should be like this
After rubbing salt on each bitter guard, kept them aside.
and prepared stuffing/filling for bitter gourd.
In a mixer adding roasted grams,
sesame seeds,
desiccated coconut,
cumin and coriander seeds,
chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala,
Roasted peanuts.
ground all in coarse powder.
It looks like this.
In a pan, I added 2 tsp oil.
Then added finely chopped onion.
after the onion starts releasing an aroma added ginger garlic, and green chili paste.
Sauté the onion and chili ginger garlic and added the ground mixture.
In the end, added 1 tsp lime juice and 2-3 tsp water, to made the mixture a little sticky, and added chopped coriander.
Back to the butter gourd after 1.2 an hour salted. steamed all bitter gourd for 3-4 minutes and late it cool down..
Filled one by one bitter gourd with stuffing which I made.
used coconut straw to hold them in shape.
In a frying pan added 2 tsp oil.
Carefully slide all filled bitter gourd into the pan.
flipping them side to side cook them from all sides.
Removed all pins or coconut leaf straws.
