Hey all HIVE friends in this community, as usual I will share my recipe with HIVE friends in this community. when it comes to cooking, to be honest, I'm between smart and not. Why did it happen? Due to the level of my styling and the level of complexity of my cooking I'm sure it's below your standards. As an employee and also as a housewife who has to prepare everything without a household assistant. practical healthy foods are of course my priority, good food without complicated ingredients, time consuming and anti-failure foods is my goal now and of course in the end is to save on shopping expenses, electricity and natural gas usage.
And tonight I will share my other simple food recipes, and of course this food is not the first time I have made it, I have made it often and I have modified it so that it is not boring, this food is KOLAK. You must have heard the name of this one food. sweets served for dessert. However, I personally make this food an appetizer, main dish and dessert at the same time..ha…ha.. why is that because when I enjoy this compote I already feel full so I often don't eat anything anymore when consuming this compote until the schedule next meal.
Usually Indonesian people make Kolak with pumpkin, sweet potato, banana or even fro. And here I will make Banana Lilit Bunch Compote. The bananas that are made are usually tastier wrapped around the bunches and kapok bananas. However, I will make this Kolak with Lilit bunches of bananas because the taste of the banana flesh is sweet, compared to the kapok bananas which have dense and slightly sour flesh, even though there are also more fans of the Lilit Bananas than the Lilit bunches bananas, maybe because of these Kapok bananas not easily softened and crushed when processed, especially when making compote.
The ingredients needed to make banana compote are as follows:
1. Banana 1 Comb
2. 2 corn cobs
3. 1 liter of fresh coconut milk
4. 1/ 2 cup granulated sugar or according to taste
How to make :
1. Choose a ripe banana, peel and clean it
2. After the bananas are clean then split the bananas into 2 parts
3. The next step Clean the corn from the hairs and then separate the corn kernels from the cobs.
4. Simultaneously cook Lilit banana bunches, corn from which the seeds have been separated, coconut milk and granulated sugar.
5. Stir until boiling, then remove and enjoy
How very easy to make right? If you have vanilla and pandan leaves your compote will definitely be much more fragrant, but because I don't have it so I don't use it, but it all doesn't affect the taste, pandan leaves and vanilla only affect the aroma.
Then the granulated sugar can also be replaced with palm sugar, it is even much healthier to use palm sugar, but for now I only want to use granulated sugar. Whatever your choice is fine Hive friends and please try my recipe. Thank you for following our posts and wait for the next recipe from me.
