Today I want to share the recipe and Still edition of the Ramadhan fasting menu to all HIVE friends in this community, as an employee who doubles as a good housewife and must continue to think about a simple iftar menu without spending a lot of money, healthy and of course I just don't spend a lot of time making it, which is the main attraction for mothers like me now, sometimes I prefer to do financial reports compared to having to think about food menus that have to change every day.
Actually, I could have bought food from outside, because we are still living alone, it would definitely save a lot of time and effort, but because I never use flavoring in any of my dishes, I try to minimize the foods that are sold in the market which are of course using flavor enhancers or preservatives, for that I always try to make my own food even though it's very simple with the leftover energy I have..ha..ha
And today I will make a menu for breaking the fast that is a little sweet but not too much, and that menu is Pudding, a menu that many people have made and who among you has never made pudding? I'm sure everyone here has made pudding, even though the pudding we make definitely has a variety of flavors and variants. And this afternoon I will make pudding with grass jelly mixture which I always prepare during Ramadan fasting and what is clear is that the ingredients are not too difficult. Let's take a look at the materials needed...
Necessary materials :
1. The first one is definitely the gelatin powder. Here I provide a colorless one
2. 3 glasses of coconut milk can be instant, but because I have fresh coconut milk, I prefer to use fresh coconut milk
3. 6 tablespoons of granulated sugar, actually it's much better to use palm sugar, but because my stock runs out, I only use granulated sugar
4. Choco pasta food coloring, so that the color of my pudding mixes more with the black grass jelly
5. Cincau to taste
6. ½ tablespoon of cornstarch, the use of cornstarch is to bind the pudding so that when it is released from the mold, the pudding doesn't runny.
Okay, I have shared the ingredients, now I will share how to make it.
1. The first step is that I prepared the fresh coconut milk that I had squeezed directly into the pot
2. Then put the sugar in the coconut milk mixture
3. After that, mix the agar-agar powder that I have provided
4. And also add cornstarch
5. Then mix ¼ tablespoon of choco paste
6. After all the ingredients are mixed, stir until smooth and then cook over medium heat until it boils, stirring constantly so that all the ingredients don't burn under the pan.
7. After boiling, let stand for one minute and while waiting I will cut the grass jelly dice which I have washed thoroughly with boiled water then I put the grass jelly pieces into the pudding mold, after that pour the pudding that has been cooked earlier into the mixture and let it sit until the dough is cool and harden afterwards you can remove it from the mould.
