Things that don't exist in my culture and the habits of the people around me, for example, processing avocados for dinner companions, processing avocados with black pepper and so on. I've never tasted it before and I don't know if my tongue accepts this new taste or not
Another thing that keeps driving me crazy, my friend said, is to make spicy sauce with Dutch eggplant, how can the fruit that is usually made into smothes become a sauce that looks like chili sauce because of its reddish color, but I don't care about that, I want to be outside my comfort zone is to make this salad with the improvised fruit in the fridge so that when my tongue doesn't accept this food I don't feel too sorry to throw it away, because I am a person who really appreciates food.
The ingredients that I prepared to make this Avocado Salad are :
1. Avocado (because this is my first time trying avocado with a spicy taste, so I'm going to use only 1/2 of the avocado for my salad today)
2. Cucumber (I use only half of the cucumber)
3. Tomatoes (The tomatoes that I use here are Comat Cherries which I harvest from my own front garden)
How to make:
1. Peel the avocado and cut according to taste
2. Wash the cucumber, peel the skin with the pattern, and cut according to taste
3. Wash the tomatoes and mix everything in one container.
To make the sauce I need the following ingredients :
1. Dutch eggplant (to make this sauce I need 2 Dutch eggplants)
2. 1 large red chili
3. A pinch of salt
4. 25 grams of palm sugar
5. A little lemon juice (the lemon you use is also from my own garden)
How to make Dutch eggplant sauce:
1. Wash the Dutch eggplant first, then just take the meat and place it in a container
2. then add a little lemon juice, salt and palm sugar
3. After that, all the blender ingredients are mixed together. Once smooth, cook over low heat until it boils and thickens.
4. After that, pour it into the fruit that has been prepared. (You can also water it with the cooled sauce.)
5. The dish can be enjoyed.
And you know, when I tried the avocado fruit prepared like this for the first time, it actually tasted delicious and tended to be very tasty, there was a fresh sour taste from the Dutch eggplant sauce which did have slightly sour properties, and sweetness from the palm sugar and avocado and the freshness of the tomatoes made This combination is perfect and I didn't choose wrong. and getting out of my comfort zone to taste and make new menu is my new habit now.
