Hello beautiful people all over the world, welcome to Plant Power Community (Vegan), where you can share your vegan recipes and, of course, get to learn from different people all over the universe.
More so, let me make use of this opportunity to wish you all a happy new month.
So today, I will be making plantain chips. The ingredients used are normal ingredients most people do have at home, and of course, that is why I am sharing the recipe so that people who don’t know how to make plantain chips can learn as well.

I love plantain chips, and I realize that the one in my jar at home is almost finished, so I decided to use the remaining not-too-ripe plantains at home to do another batch so that I wouldn’t run out of chips. So let’s get into the process and see how I made my oven-baked chips at home.
Ingredients are:
500g of not-too-ripe plantains
1 tablespoon of groundnut oil
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of blended pepper

Procedure
I peel off the back of the plantain, then put them inside a clean bowl.

I made use of an iron grater to cut the plantains into a round shape on a tray; you can cut yours into any shape, but this is how I love it.

Then I added the other ingredients, starting from the pinch of salt, sugar, and pepper.

I made use of my hand to mix the ingredients so that it could influence the plantain. Lastly, I added one tbsp of oil to moisturize the plantain texture because I will be baking it.

After that, I spread the plantain inside the oven tray.

I put it inside oven and I baked it on a low heat for 45 minutes so that it could get dry as I wanted.

After that, my oven-baked plantain chips were ready to be served with any kind of drink. Well, I kept mine inside a jar as usual.
