Although dates have a sweet taste, they are not dangerous for diabetics, because the sweet taste in dates is due to the simple sugar content in the form of sucrose and fructose which are easily digested by the body.

But sometimes you feel bored when you have to eat dates, because of that I will combine dates with agar powder which is rich in fiber and is stomach-cooling.
The ingredients that I use to make date agar agar are :
1 pack of agar agar powder, I chose the green one
1 pack of instant coconut milk (61 mL)
150 grams of dates
100 mL of warm water
500 mL of water
because I don't want to lose a lot of fiber from the cooking process agar agar dates, so that the way I make agar agar dates is :
PREPARATION
1.Remove the date seeds and put the dates into the blender.
2.add warm water to the blender then blend the dates until smooth.
How to cook agar agar :
1.Put the water in a pot / pan, then add the agar powder, stir until there are no lumps of agar powder.
2.Add the coconut milk to the agar solution, stir until mixed.
3.it's time to cook agar agar that it boils, don't forget to stir the agar when it's cooked, turn off the stove after it boils.
4.Enter the dates that have been blended into the mold.
5.add the cooked agar into the mold.
6.let the cake agar agar dates cool and harden.
I used an old model made of aluminum, because it was sometimes difficult to get the cake out of the mold, but I have an easy way to get the cake out of the pan/mold,
I put a spoon on the side of the cake before pouring it into a serving plate to make it easier to remove the cake from the pan.
