I remember my first post in this community, this was the theme and I was delighted to bring my collection that today has been modified to incorporate new winter textures.
On that occasion I only focused on what in Argentina we call shawls, or scarves, but it would rather be decorative because they are not made with very warm fabrics, but it is rather an ornament, a decoration for the garments and wear something nice on the neck. I love that.
I don't usually dress sporty, if not as a dressy dresser, but rather somewhere in between. A pair of jeans, a sweater, a jumper or a cardigan, as it's not that cold here I don't wear thick woollen clothes. That's why I like to decorate with a scarf so much.
But there are days when it is colder, especially at this time of year and closer to Christmas and New Year. I think those are the two weeks when it is coldest in this part of Spain.
I like different colours and textures, and these scarves or shawls are made of a soft and thin fabric, but they look beautiful on clothes and on the neck. Pink is my favourite colour, but I also like other colours to match.
Especially this hand painted white scarf has a special value for me, a former student painted it especially for me. It is very delicate and elegant. The others are more for everyday use and especially the one with several colours I use it a lot, I think it's one of my favourites.
Then there are these scarves with a warmer texture, a slightly thicker fabric and the print is beautiful. The black and white colour is very elegant and they go perfectly with any outfit I wear. I love floral prints.
Although if you look closely there is an infiltrator with colour, but it is in this category because of the type of fabric. I just wanted to appear in the photo.
I've always liked warm colours, maybe that's why I have practically nothing blue or green and very little purple. The combination between warm colours like the shawl you see here I love, it has everything, orange, or various shades of orange, red and pink. It is beautiful.
It is accompanied in the parade, because it really looks like a parade, other shawls, scarves or scarves and also the black colour is present which gives a different style.
I taught my scarves how to pose for the photographs and they behaved very well during the photo session.
The next three scarves are much warmer, there is a black one completely made of wool and two others that have a lot of colour. Guess which one I like best out of these three? They are very warm for the colder days so that it doesn't affect our throats.
In the middle of the parade, the thin scarves sneaked in again, they didn't want to be less and I like these in particular because of the print, the colours and some have flower embroidery, others have a beautiful decoration at the end. As I say, many of these things I have are rather decorative and they keep the neck a little warm, but not much. They serve to make us girls look prettier.
Finally I bring you these three scarves, they are the protagonists, it's almost winter and it's a bit cold, well not that cold, at the moment I'm writing it's 13 degrees, it's not bad, at least it's not freezing.
The red scarf is beautiful, it fascinates me and I got it as a gift from a former student called Estela, a lovely woman, with whom I still communicate today. The silver scarf is one of my favourites because of the texture, it is made of wool, but it is very soft and elegant. It was also given to me by a former student.
The scarf you see with the beautiful flowers was recently given to me by my friend, I wear it a lot because it's beautiful and it has colours that I love, those warm colours. Of course it looks great with jeans, boots and a sweater.
I wanted to bring a special guest today, I don't think she likes scarves very much, but she chose one that I love to model. Cata wouldn't sit still, so I could only take two pictures of her. I wonder what she thinks when I do these things... that I'm crazy.
Well... she's right. But she always accompanies me on photo shoots and she likes to see what I do, so I just modeled one of my scarves for you.
And that's my participation for this beautiful winter initiative, so let's wrap up warm because in many areas it's very cold.
Thank you very much to all of you for joining me, I send you a big greeting. See you soon.
