I believe that pens are tools we use to capture ideas. Despite living in the technological age, pens still have their uses; we live alongside those who write everything down on their cell phones and those who take notes using pens.
To my right, I have an organizer that contains pens, pencils, correction fluid, markers, and other small items. All of the pens are black ink. I think that because of my work as an educator, that color of ink was always required for grading papers.
Among the pens, I have one with sentimental value that was a gift from my dad when I graduated as a teacher. During my first years of work, I used it because I could find refills, but over the years it became difficult to find them, and I didn't want to part with the pen, so I keep it even though it has no ink.
Un gran saludo a los miembros de Hive Collectors Community. Haciendo mi recorrido habitual, me encuentro con un reto que me llamó la atención y me propuse participar, de hecho, es mi primera vez en dicha comunidad. El tema del concurso es «bolígrafos».
Considero que los bolígrafos son herramientas que usamos para plasmar las ideas. A pesar de estar viviendo en la era tecnológica, el bolígrafo aún tiene uso; convivimos con los que todo lo apuntan en el celular y con los que hacen las anotaciones usando el bolígrafo.
A mi lado derecho tengo un organizador que contiene: bolígrafos, lápices, corrector, marcadores, entre otras cositas. Todos los bolígrafos son de tinta negra, pienso que por mi trabajo de educadora siempre exigían ese color de tinta para pasar las notas.
Entre los bolígrafos tengo uno con un valor sentimental que fue un regalo de mi papá cuando me gradué de profesora, durante los primeros años de trabajo lo usé porque encontraba el repuesto, con los años se fue poniendo difícil de encontrar y no he querido desprenderme del bolígrafo, lo conservo así no tenga tinta.

The ones I always have on hand, without caps because they are always in the organizer, are used out of habit and returned to the organizer. As a side note, I always carry a pen in my purse; there is always someone who needs one, and I help them out.

I currently use my cell phone to jot down some things, but I also like to write or put my ideas down on paper using a pen; I consider it a way to maintain or strengthen those abilities.
