Hello Hive collectors, a first timer is here. I'm glad to join this community and to also participate in this month's initiative organized by which topic is for us to share a collection of our Tote bags. I actually got to know about this prompt all thanks to
's post which I read. 😅
I do not really have trendy or bespoke tote bags in my collection. Few of the ones I have were gifts or souvenirs from events. Here in my region, it's a trend for event organizers or celebrants to give out tote bags and/or other items as souvenirs.
So without much ado, let me showcase some of them.
I got this beautiful flowered tote bag at a funeral of a colleague's late brother which I attended early this year. It's made from ankara print leather, very durable. What I like most about it is the color.
This yarn tote bag was actually the first one I collected. I bought it at a thrift store here in my town. It's been with me for a couple of years now, roughly seven years. It was my go - to bag back then but no longer now. It has become a parking bag for other stuffs, lol.
Although yarn-made tote bags are often unique and stylish, they might be more prone to stretching or sagging, depending on the type of yarn and stitching used.
Another beautiful one here. I equally bought it at a thrift store and I love everything about it. It's colorful, stylish, trendy and can blend with any outfit. It's a special duty bag as I use it to carry my lunch pack. It's made from pongee and easy to clean or wash.
This is another old tote bag that I have. I got it same place with the flowered one. It was actually a gift from the shop owner in appreciation for my patronage. The inscription on it makes a lot of sense. The "Able" there is giving the confidence vibe, something like saying that you can trust it as your to-go bag and that it has got you covered, any day, anytime.😅
Aha! another souvenir tote bag. It was from my friend's wedding. It came with another item inside it. I often use it for shopping as it can contain my shopping bags, purse, and other stuffs. It's also made from leather.
This one too was from an event I attended. The 60th birthday celebration and 31st priestly ordination of one our priests. It was a memorable event.
Another beautiful one here. It was used to package a fascinator that I purchased.
I attended the opening ceremony of this fertility center and this bag including some other items were given out. It's made from polyester, durable and easy to clean.
I saved the best for last, hehehe. So this one was from a thrift store too. I love patronizing thrift stores as they have quite a number of unique stuffs there. The material is a combination of pongee and polyester. The interior is polyester while exterior is cotton. The color, and design of this bag is giving a trendy girlish vibes.. And you know the good thing is that I have a pair of pants, skirt and shirt of same color. In fact, I was actually carrying the bag the day I bought the skirt. It was just a coincidence. I saw the skirt, liked it and it was when I reached for my purse to make payment that I realized they were same color.
And that's a wrap. Hope you liked the bags.
Thanks for having me.
