It took me a while to get to this place which appears on the screen when you click the create a post button. Well, just a few days; it is not that bad...
And I hope you won't blame me a lot, because travelling (even if just imaginary) takes time. I did it through gifts that I received from Japan, Taiwan, the US, Croatia and the UK. Some of them will be presented here today. My husband brought them from his latest trip to Croatia attending Hive Fest and these are the cute gifts that a few lovely Hive ladies sent me through him. That was fun, especially for those involved in these gift-gathering activities and those who had to pack everything in one backpack. In the end, I am the one who was touched by the attention and kindness of those who greeted me with these treasures.
For this item I only need a traditional kimono from Japan; I already have a small fabric drawstring pouch to carry my stuff in. It didn't come empty - called it a global package, and it really is. It contained goodies from different parts of the world accompanied by her favourite Sanrio characters. They may be part of her collections, which I look forward to seeing in the community one day. My collections can grow too, for example, my postcard collection just grew with this new one!
These handpainted earrings will be added to my earrings collection. The patterns are very nice; the other side is turquoise, which is one of my favourite colours. She mentioned in her letter written inside the postcard that it was made with the technique of acrylic pouring.
Speaking about acrylics... it's been also a while since I used the acrylic paints to decorate some rocks. Now, that my collection has grown by 6 new rocks that travelled from the United States and Croatia to me, I will need to make some time for the rock decorating activity. Can't promise it can happen soon but we never know. 😉
Thank you very much ,
and
for these Hive Fest pebbles. They will receive some colours one day. 😊
These two pebbles made a really long journey from one National Park before arriving at my hands. They can make their pins in Worldmappin, that much they travelled.
I could also make some imaginary pins on that map with these gifts... thank you, girls, once again!!!
Here we still have one item that will be added to my keychain collection {there are still a few days left to participate with this theme}
A cute red HIVE keychain. A word that connects some keys/people - it nicely represents the essence of any community.
Without the connections we make at Hive these gifts would not have reached me.
