Hablar de juegos tradicionales en mi país Venezuela abarca una gran variedad desde los juguetes, rondas y juegos grupales los cuales como toda niña disfrute con mis amiguitos en casa y en la escuela.
Indudablemente estos juegos se repiten generación tras generación y son muy disfrutados por los niños en casa o el patio y los cuales sin duda nos dejan recuerdos inolvidables.
En mi país en mis años de infancia el emboque, trompo, traki traki, metras, la fuga, el yoyo, gurrufio, las palmas, el escondite, el pañuelito, la gallinita ciega, la vieja, el stop y pise eran algunas de las mejores opciónes de diversión para disfrutar las vacaciones. 🪁🪀🥏
Talking about traditional games in my country Venezuela covers a great variety from toys, rounds and group games which as a child I enjoy with my friends at home and at school.
Undoubtedly these games are repeated generation after generation and are very enjoyed by children at home or in the yard and which undoubtedly leave us with unforgettable memories.
In my country in my childhood years the emboque, trompo, traki traki, metras, la fuga, el yoyo, gurrufio, las palmas, el escondite, el pañuelito, la gallinita ciega, la vieja, el stop y pise were some of the best fun options to enjoy the vacations. 🪁🪀🥏
Hace poco fui invitada a una conferencia titulada seamos amigos de la infancia y en esta tuve la oportunidad de defender los derechos de los niños entre estos el derecho a jugar como parte de la infancia y donde sugería la idea de fomentar está acción.
Ahora bien sabemos que la era tecnológica llegó y con ella todos esos dispositivos de juegos y de entretenimiento virtuales que invaden el interés de nuestros hijos y de hecho causan furor hasta el punto que pueden llegar a aislarse de la realidad inmediata y del disfrute que estas les pueda proporcionar por la simple necesidad de jugar frente a una pantalla.
Recently I was invited to a conference entitled Let's be friends with children and in this conference I had the opportunity to defend the rights of children, among them the right to play as part of childhood and where I suggested the idea of promoting this action.
Now we know that the technological era has arrived and with it all those gaming devices and virtual entertainment that invade the interest of our children and in fact cause furor to the point that they can become isolated from the immediate reality and enjoyment that these can provide them by the simple need to play in front of a screen.
Pero como mamá creo que esto no está mal ya que la tecnología está presente y es obvio que nuestros hijos deben estar en contacto con estos dispositivos porque también desarrollan habilidades y destrezas en nuestros niños, además de ser un monstruo informativo que los documenta en tiempo real.
Pero en este punto es donde entra la responsabilidad y control parental para equilibrar el disfrute de estos sin que estos influyan en el disfrute de otros juegos que de igual manera benefician a nuestros hijos.
But as a mom I think this is not wrong because technology is present and it is obvious that our children should be in contact with these devices because they also develop skills and abilities in our children, besides being an information monster that documents them in real time.
But this is where parental responsibility and control comes in to balance the enjoyment of these devices without them influencing the enjoyment of other games that also benefit our children.
Tengo dos hijos mayores y todos disfrutaron de ellos han jugado fuga o volantín, metras, trompo, yoyo y ni hablar de los juegos de papel como el popular ahorcado o stop y créanme también intentaron hacer trampa al jugar. 🤣
Mi niña menor tiene 6 años de edad y poco a poco a disfrutado de estos juguetes y de las rondas en casa ya que por prevención contra el covid-19 no hemos podido ampliar sus vivencias grupales.
Sin embargo siempre incluyo algún juego tradicional a nuestras horas de juego en casa y sobre todo en etapa vacacional dónde se hace necesario presentarles diferentes juegos para su disfrute y entretenimiento.
I have two older kids and they all enjoyed them have played fugue or kite, metras, spinning top, yoyo and not to mention the paper games like the popular hangman or stop and believe me they also tried to cheat while playing. 🤣
My youngest child is 6 years old and little by little she has been enjoying these toys and the rounds at home since due to prevention against covid-19 we have not been able to expand her group experiences.
However, I always include some traditional game to our playtime at home and especially during the holidays when it is necessary to introduce them to different games for their enjoyment and entertainment.
Recuerdo que uno de los juegos que más disfrutaba en casa junto a mis hermanas era la vieja* tres en línea juego del gato o como lo llamen en tu país un juego que tradicionalmente se juega con una hoja de papel y lápiz y para mí sorpresa también se juega de forma virtual pero hoy quiero presentar de una forma diferente a mi pequeña. 😊
Así que sin mucho que pensar me puse manos a la obra y busque materiales reciclados que normalmente tengo en casa para crear el juego.
I remember one of the games I enjoyed the most at home with my sisters was the old* three in a row cat game or whatever they call it in your country a game traditionally played with a sheet of paper and pencil and to my surprise it is also played virtually but today I want to present in a different way my little girl. 😊
So without much to think about I got down to work and looked for recycled materials that I usually have at home to create the game.
Para este elegí cartón y foami para la cuadrícula la cual se divide en 9 casillas.
Para las piezas del juego útilice tapitas de botellas plásticas y foami negro para las formas de X y O y de las cuales realice 5 de X y 4 de O.
For this one I chose cardboard and foami for the grid which is divided into 9 squares.
For the game pieces I used plastic bottle caps and black foami for the X and O shapes and made 5 X and 4 O shapes.
Fue muy sencillo de realizar y una buena opción de presentarlo a mi niña, sobre todo porque tenemos planificado una visita a la casa de la abuela materna y quiero que llevemos el juego para que pueda jugar con su primita quien disfruta muy poco de este tipo de juego tradicional.
It was very easy to make and a good option to present it to my little girl, especially because we are planning a visit to her maternal grandmother's house and I want to take the game with us so she can play with her little cousin who enjoys this type of traditional game very little.
Este juego me parece una de las tantas opciones tradicionales para jugar en la casa o en el parque o algún otro lugar que disfrutemos en esta época vacacional.
Así que vamos a jugar la vieja y a concentrarnos para lograr ser el primero en colocar tres piezas iguales consecutivas en línea y ser el ganador 😁
This game seems to me one of the many traditional options to play at home or in the park or some other place we enjoy this holiday season.
So let's play la vieja and concentrate on being the first one to place three consecutive matching pieces in a row and be the winner 😁 😁.
Rescatar lo tradicional desde casa es una acción invaluable que como padres debemos realizar la cual no solo asegura pasar estás costumbres de generación en generación sino que nos propicia momentos de calidad en familia junto a nuestros niños.
