The most beautiful stage of my life.
Whenever I start to remember about my life in childhood, the exercise of doing it takes me a long time, there are few episodes that managed to mark my life. One of them is my life in school, in which I studied from first to sixth grade of primary school. Unfortunately from those moments I do not keep photographs, at that time having a camera was not of extreme necessity. We celebrated every end of the year to see ourselves photographed sitting at the teacher's desk, happily smiling, imitating writing a notebook. This photograph was accompanied by a small sign where it indicated the year that we had finished. I'm sure my mother still has this photograph and I hope one day I can show it to her.
School, my second home.
At school I lived and enjoyed play and study like any child. It is a large, spacious school. With open spaces to play and do sports. My school is one of the most beautiful located in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. It is not very far from the place where I resided. He could walk back and forth daily. In the early years my parents took me or sent me with my older sister, then I went alone. At school he spent half a full day. There he practiced sports, singing, gymnastics in addition to watching the usual classes. My school had a very large dining room, it was a space that we all wanted to enter. The meals they gave us were tasty and filling. We could even repeat and take a little home. Some children who did not do school life there would arrive at lunchtime (11:30 am) and sit down to wait for all of the school to eat and then be invited.
Se llama E.B.I "Miguel Villavicencio".
My favorite places.
If you ever come to Venezuela, specifically to the city of Caracas, come to visit my school, it is still located on Lamas avenue, near San MartĂn avenue. His name is E.B.I "Miguel Villavicencio". Its facade is totally closed. It has two entrance doors attached to two large gates; the main one through which we entered every day and the one at the exit through which the urban cleaning truck passed and the one that we saw open every day so that we could all leave in a hurry and with plenty of room to run. What wonderful times! In addition to the large dining room, my school had a small school library, it was not very visited by children, but I loved being there. Unlike the dining room, this was a quiet, silent space, which the teacher Rosita was in charge of keeping very clean and beautiful. There I learned to understand reading, the correct position to read, I began to love books and I understood that part of my life would be great to live in such a place. The school library was one of the best places I have been in my life! Leaving sixth grade, almost at farewell, I went to pick up some documents. That day I entertained myself thinking, disgusted to see how some books were removed to discard. Friends! Until today I do not understand why they got rid of those books. What I can tell you is that they allowed me to take possession of a few, since I did not have a bag or backpack to store them. Of all of them I currently keep one. The others I don't know what my parents would do. I rescued a Spanish and Literature textbook, which I have not abandoned since that day. This book has been useful to me in all the other educational stages of my life and even in my work life.
¡Gracias!
Another place in my school that I really enjoyed was the school canteen. There we could buy breakfasts and snacks at recess. As soon as the bell rang we ran to queue to be served. My favorite breakfast: the ripe banana with sauces and grated cheese! The most delicious thing they sold in the canteen. I remember it like it was yesterday. My life at school is one of the most beautiful memories. And I haven't told you about my teacher Stylite yet. I must discover in me the teaching vocation. I will leave it to tell in more details in other posts. Also about the mischief I did when leaving school; I stayed in the little park next to the school. I played with other children who did not study with me, but they would wait for me to play for a while. Really the school stage, it was one of the best days of my life. Thank you very much for offering us this space and this contest. If I don't get the prize, I already won. Going back to the times of my childhood is a beautiful moment. I deserved it! Thanks!
