Hello friends, today I want to introduce you to one of the old Iranian customs. This custom takes place on the last day of autumn and the first night of winter.
We Iranians gather together on the longest night of the year and prepare all kinds of edibles and fruits throughout the year, as well as special food for Yalda night. Here I am trying to introduce this rich and ancient Iranian culture to you dear friends. On this night, we listen to the memories of the elders of the family. We review the poems of the great Iranian poet Hafez Shirazi together and we prepare all kinds of fruits, nuts and chocolates. And we celebrate this long night with our families. In Iran, traditional items are used on this night, and in fact, modern dishes and designs have no place for setting the table or table. This year, I was with my family on Yalda night. Their wives were present and I celebrated with my parents and my younger sister. I shared some of the photos here.
Common foods that are prepared on this night are nuts and fruits, pomegranate and watermelon, as well as boiled yellow pumpkins and boiled red beets. We eat as much as possible on this night.😄😄😄
As I said, we read Hafez's poetry and get Hafez's fortune on this night
In this, we try to decorate all edibles. Like the next photo, decorating seeds and pistachios in the form of flowers in a tray.
On Yalda night, we Iranians should be with our elders, and this makes the good and warm feeling of the family more colorful for me.
On Yalda night we eat more. We are more happy. We pray more and celebrate this long night that is only one minute longer than the previous night and start the winter with a happy family gathering. I hope the post I hope you like it.
