Es grato para mi estar por acá con ustedes en este divertido reto #Challenge: Home School Vacation; al cual me uno por la invitación de 
Quiero presetar mi participación sobre los juegos tradicionales, con la elaboración de un papagayo, conocido también como: cometa, o papalote; un divertido juego, que desde niño me ha gustado , y que, lo he tranasmitido a mis hijos.
Les cuento, que desde niño, me gustaba mucho la aviación, y pienso que, por ello, siempre me inclinaba por los cometas, porque era algo que también volaba, jejeje, tengo tres hijos varones, y desde que eran niños, siempre sacamos un tiempo, en vacaciones escolares, como: semana santa, y fin de año escolar, para elaborarlos en casa, con materiales de provecho; y así, compartir tiempo de calidad en familia.
Este juego, es apropiado para niños a partir de los 7 años, con la supervisión de sus padres; y le permite al niño adquirir algunas destrezas en el momento de la elaboración tales como: tomar medidas, recortar, selección de los materiales apropiados; además a la hora de volar, el niño, aprende a ubicar la dirección del viento, lo cual le facilita elevar el papagayo.
Estos son diversos a la hora de elaborarse, los hay de 3, 4, y 6 varillas; y hasta mas; y de distintas formas, tales como: globos, barcos, cajón, avión; entre otros; la propuesta que les presento, es el modelo tradicional y sencillo de 3 varilla.
Lo elaboré con mi hijo, utilizano materiales de reciclaje; espero les agrade, y su opinión en cuanto a la presentación.

I want to present my participation on traditional games, with the elaboration of a parrot, also known as: kite, or kite; a fun game, that since I was a child I have liked, and that, I have transmitted it to my children.
I tell you, that since I was a child, I liked aviation very much, and I think that is why I always liked kites, because it was something that also flew, hehehehe, I have three boys, and since they were children, we always took some time, in school vacations, such as: Easter, and end of school year, to make them at home, with useful materials; and thus, share quality time as a family.
This game is appropriate for children from 7 years old, with the supervision of their parents, and allows the child to acquire some skills at the time of development such as: taking measurements, cutting, selection of appropriate materials, also when flying, the child learns to locate the direction of the wind, which makes it easier to raise the parrot.
There are 3, 4, and 6 rods; and even more; and of different shapes, such as: balloons, boats, box, airplane; among others; the proposal that I present to you, is the traditional and simple model of 3 rods.
I made it with my son, using recycled materials; I hope you like it, and your opinion about the presentation.

1 bolsa plastica mediana
hilo de coser
3 varillas delgadas y resistentes.

PREPARACIÓN
Se unen las tres varillas con el hilo de coser, cuidando que quede centrada; y se acomodan que quede una varilla horizontal, que será la central; y las otras 2 vertical cruzadas, como se muestra en la imagen.
Luego sin cortar el hilo, se cubren todos los bordes, sujetando cada extremo de las varillas, y unindo cada punto, se forma la estrella del papagayo.
Se cortan las asas de la bolsa.
PREPARATION
The three rods are joined with the sewing thread, taking care that it is centered; and they are arranged so that one rod is horizontal, which will be the central one; and the other 2 vertical crossed, as shown in the image.
Then, without cutting the thread, cover all the edges, holding each end of the rods, and joining each point, form the parrot's star.
The handles of the bag are cut.
Se coloca la estructura del papagayo sobre la bolsa, se recorta la cantidad necesaria, y con el mismo hilo, se fija la bolsa a cada extremo de la varilla.

Luego se procede a realizar la parte más delicada del cometa, que son los frenillos; que se hacen sujentando el hilo a una de las varillas centrales que forman la X, y se mide hasta el centro donde se hizo el amarre inicial; y se amarra en la otra varilla; este será el extremo inferior donde va la cola del papagayo.
Para el frenillo principal, se hacen unas pequeñitas aberturas en la parte central, y se hace pasar un hilo, y se amarra a la varilla central.
