Hello friends, I welcome you all to my blog. This is another opportunity to participate in this week #crossculture prompt, and the theme is an exciting one. Each of us has been impacted through life stories, past events, or books that had a great influence and which shaped our lives to maturity.

Growing up, I found solace in reading novels, especially romantic ones. Whenever I'm less busy, the next thing that comes to mind is picking up a novel. This habit made me develop a good reading habit, and I came to find reading to be interesting.
Reading different novels, although fiction, gave me a glimpse of other country cultures, their way of dressing, food, and music. I felt like I could see and feel how things were done on the other side through the books.
I also learned how to control my emotions, self-discovery, and what to look out for in a romantic relationship. As funny as it may sound, most of my standards of love and relationship were discovered through my reading of romantic novels, and it happened to work out perfectly for me.
Reading novels shaped me in a good way, to be more loveable, to know what to look out for in a relationship, to identify possible signs of cheating, and how to make a relationship work. It might not work out for others, but it did for me because I didn't just read for fun, I wanted to learn something I could personally apply, and it did impact me greatly.
Today, i'm happy about my love life, thanks to the many beautiful romantic novels from authors like; Nora Roberts, Nicolas Sparks, Linda Howard, etc.
This is my entry for #crossculture #prompt for this week. You can also share a story or book that impacted you to participate in the prompt. I love forward to reading about your interesting experiences.
