After spending a month in hive, l can say that Hive Cross Culture community is one of the major communities that l always try to be upto date in whatever they are doing here.
That's exactly why l'm looking at my clock as it approaches deadline to this question yet, l still want to try and beat the deadline in my attempt to answer the current Cross Culture Question. Leggo π
πππWHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL SHOPS? WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM? SHOW PICTURES πππ
Alot of people here already know that l'm still serving my country and l'm in the Northern part of the country so, the favourite local shops that l would have opted for are currently out of my reach but l have been able to become accustomed to some local shops here and they are the ones that l will be displaying.
Well, here is a snippet of what you will be expecting;
This is not just a shop but it is a plaza that is filled with different varieties of shops. It is a very popular market in Jos Town, Plateau State in Nigeria. It is called Indomie Plaza.
This plaza is a one-stop-shop for every shop owner that is buoyant enough to rent a store in a well secured area. It is called Indomie Plaza but the shops that you can find there include;
Fashion Designing Shops which is where you can see specialised male & female fashion designers.
Electronics Shops
CCTV Installation stores
As expected, there are also alot of Shops that are used as warehouse for offloading Cartons of indomie.
The shop that l visited most frequently in the plaza is a bakery where l usually go for lunch whenever l'm working. I visit it with my colleagues at least 3 times in a week whenever we are working.
That's not me π
Hehehe... That's one of my colleague rushing in to buy his usual meat-pie and Limca (soft drink/soda)
Okay, you would have to forgive me for not going closer. I took this picture in the third week of December when l was still unaware of the existence of Hive.
There are many other shops that we could have opted for as our lunch arena but we just couldn't overlook this one. The name of that Bakery is "French Bakery" and their cupcake in addition to meat-pie and Egg roll are relatively cheap.
Another shop that l will surely miss whenever l leave this town is a shop where l usually go to buy honey.
This shop is located at the entrance of a Museum in Jos and they have different varieties of oil but l'm just interested in the honey so, everyother thing there doesn't really look interesting to me.
The only problem l have with this shop is that the guy doesn't speak English so, we have to get a middleman else, we will end up smiling at each other till the end of the day π€£.
Woww... And once l have my honey in my pocket, the next thing is Bubye ππ
