Hello, I want to take be a part of this contest. The values of the community sound very interesting to me.
One of the most honored days in my country is called "Palm Sunday". probably it could be met in other cultures as well. Every year this Christian holiday has a different date. It is in the 6-th week(Sunday) of The Great Lent.
One of the most important things on this day is the willow. Since time immemorial in the yard of every church, there has been such a tree. A liturgy or reading of the church books was done to the tree, branches were broken off, brought into the church, and dipped in holy water. After the solemn liturgy, these branches were distributed to the laity to take home for health.
On the day before Palm Sunday, Lazarus Day is celebrated. It is common for young, unmarried girls to go around the village singing songs and wearing wreaths/wreaths. On the following Palm Sunday, they had to go to the river and drop the wreaths and the boys had to catch the wreath of their chosen one.
On this day, people named after plants - flowers, trees, and their derivatives have a personal holiday.
