I think I would sum up the post in one word: Respect.
Respect for the Australian soldiers who fought under such conditions, respect for the fallen and those who survived, because in a war, there is never a winning side, and respect for you, Mate.
Paying such tribute to those who gave their lives for Australia to be what it is today speaks volumes about the person you are. It’s a tough trek, and I’m not sure if my current physical condition would allow me to do it, but it’s definitely a very special Here and there.
