In this episode, I build up the second access: Upper Pilgrim Lake, Paint the HIghlands, Add some rock, and Paint the Tunnel Entrance face.
Tunnel Entrance!
Using Woodland Scenics' Plaster Cloth, I create a bond for the tunnel casting and the scenery base. Once the base is glued, I will use Slate Gray, Stone Gray, and Black paint washes to blend the brick into the mountain.
The top of the watefall: Upper Pilgrim Lake, needs more structure, more rock and form to hold the water in, for the waterfall. As well, The Highlands mountaintop needs reinforcing.

With the basic structures finished, I start putting on a basecoat of paint. This Raw Umber Burnt Umber mix is a wash to cover the white undercoat. Eventually, I will glue down some scenic grass and cover, and seal the entrie top of the Highlands Mountain.
