Hello Hive ❤️
Hey everyone, it’s us, your hosts from the CBRS #Podcast, back with episode 36! We’re excited to share what we talked about this week, from Hive updates to some fun personal stories. We dove into what’s happening in the Hive community, our plans for the dapplist, and even some casual life chats. Let’s break it down!
Hive Dapplist: VSC Shines, Moon Cards Next
Last week, we spotlighted @VSC.Network on TheDappList, and you all showed up big time! We hit 111 upvotes (now it's already at 120), just above our goal of 110, which is awesome. The VSC team did a fantastic job promoting their project on X, explaining how it works and encouraging votes. That’s exactly what we love to see—dapps and the community teaming up to push Hive forward.
Next up, we’re hyping #MoonKarts (be ready and
) , a super cool Racing Game on Hive. Starting this Friday, we’ll be posting about it, and we need your votes to keep Hive climbing the dapplist ranks. The more we vote, the higher Hive dapps rank, which brings more eyes to our community. Plus, we’re noticing fewer dapps on the list lately, so we’re on the hunt for new ones to feature.
MoonKarts is special because it’s not just a “click a button” game—it’s engaging and arcade-like, something we’ve always wanted on Hive. So, let’s rally and vote for it starting Friday. Snap those screenshots and share them in the comments!
Hive-Echo and Community Vibes
We also talked about @Hive-Echo, our community-driven effort to boost Hive’s presence on Web2. The more days you post on Web2 during the CTA week, the more chances you get to win rewards in the Wheel of Names.
We’re thrilled to see #Hive-Echo growing. We hit a record 273 followers and 161 comments on our Web 2 call-to-action post. It’s amazing to see so many Hive users sharing videos and talking about Hive on X and other web2 platforms. Just search “Web 3” or “Hive” on X, and you’ll see our community popping up everywhere. It’s building momentum, and we’re loving it.
We also gave a shoutout to the Out of the Box (OTB) post for #nftopia, a Web 3 event where Hive and Wax showcase their projects. Our community jumped in, engaging with the post and showing NFTopia how active Hive is. This kind of energy makes Hive stand out, not just posting and liking, but real comments from real people. That’s the Hive spirit!
The Hive-Echo Wheel of names winners are:

Onboarding and Hive’s Future
We touched on some exciting onboarding efforts led by @Starkerz and the Hive team. They’re creating guides and videos to help new users get started on Hive. Almost every task on their onboarding list is claimed by community members pitching in. For example, #Starkerz just dropped a video on how to use , which is perfect for newbies. We even thought about making a video ourselves but got beat to it, great job, team!
We also celebrated for onboarding a new user, who got a warm welcome from #3Speak with 1,000 Satoshi and some HBD as a bonus. Small steps like these are bringing us closer to mass adoption. Imagine Hive growing from 10,000 active users to 50,000 or even 100,000. It’s possible if we keep making it easy for new folks to join.
Life Chats: Singing, Scams, and Dreams
This episode got personal too. We shared some stories about our lives, like discovering our kids’ talents. One of us found out their dad was a gifted singer, which explains why their son, @Dovycola, has such an incredible voice. He recently rocked a concert, hitting high notes and wowing the crowd. We’re planning to post a video of his performance on Hive soon ( HERE IS THE VIDEO ). His little sister, only four, is already singing at home, so we’re thinking about getting her into lessons too. Who knows, maybe we’ll have a family band someday!
We also reminisced about our own childhoods. One of us went to a special arts school, singing and performing from age four. It opened up a world of travel and culture, shaping who we are today. We even tossed around the idea of recording a song with @Dovycola maybe a rap, some singing, and his epic voice. Stay tuned for that!
On a heavier note, we vented about scams, like a recent car deal gone wrong and the massive 16 billion account data breach reported by Coin Telegraph. It’s a reminder to change your passwords regularly. We also got real about the crypto world’s challenges, like the hassle of buying Hive with fees on fees. We’re rooting for a new proposal to make buying Hive with a credit card easier, even if it costs $20,000. It’s worth it to grow Hive.
Wrapping Up
This podcast was a mix of Hive hustle and heart-to-heart chats. We’re pumped about Moon Cards, Hive Echo, and all the onboarding work happening. Plus, it felt good to share some personal stories and dream about future projects, like a song with our kids.
Thanks for tuning in, and don’t forget: vote for Moon Cards starting Friday, post your Hive Echo stats, and keep spreading the Hive love on X. Let’s keep this community alive and growing. Catch you next week for episode 37!
