TouchDesigner is a visual programming tool that lets you create real-time interactive visuals without writing traditional code. Instead of typing commands, you connect colored boxes, called "nodes", together, and each node performs one specific job.
This is how the network looks with the base shape. You may notice that the visual above is completely different—I just used a bloom effect and feedback, then composited it. If you are new, you may not know, but the idea is to understand how the visuals work. They move from the basic shape of a circle, which I feed to noise, and that noise is influenced by my song, which in turn gives out that shape that moves throughout. You can see a still image here.
These are the further processing steps I did with that basic shape. So if you watch the video below, you can see I change the parameters in real time. Although the video looks quite rough due to my low-end laptop, if you download the file, you can change the parameters as you wish. You'll learn how to add your own song and how to manipulate the shape and its effects overall,
Some Tinkering and you can check how much reactive this visual is to sound:
Here is how you can download the file and use it, and also how you can manipulate various nodes as well. There is also another visual with it, which is quite edit-based. I have its file as well. I will upload something new every day, and you can also check my other posts.
