I officially left the UK for good to escape the Matrix and become a digital nomad expat living abroad. But right now, the dream is turning into a nightmare. Can I actually make it as a YouTuber? Can I earn a living while living in paradise, or is it all about to come crashing down?
I’m sharing everything daily on this travel vlog—totally openly, honestly, and vulnerably. I’m not just showing you the "Instagram vs Reality" of expat life, but the real spiritual warfare and the woes of being a nomadic soul. From my escape to Mexico, through Guatemala, El Salvador, Argentina, and Chile, the journey has led me here to Bali, Indonesia. But now, I’m facing my biggest challenge yet.
The UK has become a dystopian, terrible place to live. Everyone is depressed, repressed, and crushed under a tyrannical government that has abandoned its own people. As taxes and the cost of living skyrocket, I chose freedom. I left with almost zero savings and no plan, but I’m going for it anyway.
Now, I’m stuck. If I can't find my passport, the Indonesian Immigration overstay fine is 1,000,000 IDR (approx. £50) per day. If I’m trapped here for weeks without docs, I’m finished.
