That’s it. The final cord is cut. Today, I’ve officially filed the P85 form and registered as leaving the UK for good. I am now a non-UK tax resident, and honestly? It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.

It’s become a hollowed-out version of itself—a place where everyone is depressed, repressed, and crushed under the weight of a tyrannical government that couldn't care less about you. Between the soaring taxes and the cost-of-living madness, I realized I had to get out while I still could.
