Yes I have heard similar here too. In the UK now, you have to specifically 'opt-out' of donating your organs. Meaning the government has declared they will have them if they so please. That rang alarm bells for me and I have been wanting to warn others. Their governments may be making similar decisions over their citizens body. I expect China is also one.
