My 3Speaking Today
¡What's up players! How are you all doing, I hope you are having a great time this weekend. Over here I am trying to bring you some entertainment through my gaming channel on 3Speak, and of course, as always, I welcome you to this gameplay and post. Well, unfortunately I will start off with some bad news regarding this wonderful total conversion mod for GTA San Andreas that is GTA Carcer City, which has unfortunately suffered a significant delay in the delivery of the promised patch to improve the stability of the first 7 missions and some other secondary missions, in addition to the fact that said patch promises to increase the overall stability of the mod. However, at least not everything is negative in this regard, as the folks at Freetime Studios have simply been taking a break from their Carcer City development activities, which I think is quite well deserved given the excellent and arduous work they have put into this first stage of the mod. The latter is particularly noteworthy since the folks at Freetime Studios have announced that they are returning to the development of the mod once again and assured that they will be releasing the patch soon, but without specifying a date, unlike before when they had assured us that they would release the patch by May 10th of this year : / . For the time being we can only wait and keep an eye on the official Grand Theft Auto: Carcer City page on ModDB, as well as the various social media accounts of Freetime Studios. But do not worry players, I will keep you informed through this channel of any developments and updates regarding the release of the patch.
In today's gameplay we will no longer be doing as much 'FreePlay', as this time we focused on the main storyline of the mod, and in doing so we have managed to learn much more about the lore, so to speak, of our player character, that being Liam, the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Carcer City. I believe that in my first post on the subject I mentioned that Liam turned out to be a police officer or agent of the Carcer City Police Department (CCPD), but as we begin the main missions we quickly realize that Liam has been out of the CCPD for some time, and that he is making his own way independently in Carcer, taking on illegal jobs offered by some former CCPD colleagues, as we can observe during the events of the first mission called 'Yet Another Monday', in which our former colleague Ron assigns us the task of recovering a weapons shipment from an unspecified client, which had been intercepted by a local gang and which we had to recover alongside a CCPD rookie named Xavier, who would attempt to help us in this first mission. During the course of this first mission, the mod presents us with the classic San Andreas mechanics of how to use the game's very rudimentary stealth system.
Then in the second mission titled 'Repossession', our also former colleague Adam meets us at the Carcer City Police Department HQ in the Gilling Hill area, where he will ask for our help in order to recover his recently stolen car, leading us to the hospital in the 'Projects' area where we will have to chase down the thieves and hunt them all the way to a small sort of abandoned parking lot, where the thieves' armed friends would be waiting for us wielding melee weapons, so we had to take them down with Adam's help. The tricky part of this mission turned out to be keeping Adam alive to avoid failing the mission, so if you are trying out this mod I recommend going in armed before starting this mission… Finally, we continue collecting baseball cards that we pick up around Carcer City, having so far collected 8 out of 100. Players, with no intention of going on any further, I bid you farewell for today, but not without first thanking you very much for your support of my gaming content here on 3Speak 💪😃👍
