Today I have one good news and one slightly dramatic news for you all. So let’s jump straight into it.
🎉 The Good News – Apple Finally Approved the App!
After all the waiting, refreshing emails, and probably sacrificing a few brain cells to App Store review guidelines…
👉 Apple has finally approved the Distriator application! 🎊🍎
This means:
- The app is ready to be listed on the App Store
- Technically, we are cleared from the review side
- All development and compliance efforts paid off 💪 cc:
For everyone supporting Hive ecosystem development — this is a BIG milestone. Distriator is now fully validated from Apple’s side.
Feels good. Really good. 😌🔥
😅 The Bad News – Apple Developer Program Drama
Now comes the “plot twist”.
While the app is approved…
👉 Our Apple Developer Program membership is not yet renewed.
Yes… even after making the payment. 🫠
There’s still some back-and-forth happening with Apple support. Today, I’ll again try to:
- 📞 Have a telephonic conversation
- 📩 Follow up on pending issues
- 🔍 Figure out what exactly is blocking the renewal
Until the developer program is fully active again, we cannot officially list the app on the App Store.
So technically:
App Approved ✅
App Listed ❌ (for now)
We’re this close. 🤏
🛠 Backend Bug – FIXED! ✅
Now onto some solid technical progress.
There was a backend issue where:
Guides were unable to update businesses properly.
That bug has now been completely fixed 🎉
Here’s what’s improved:
- Guides can now submit verification links
- If a business verification was already done earlier, they can simply reuse the published Hive post
- No unnecessary duplication
- Smoother workflow for everyone involved
This significantly improves efficiency and makes Distriator much more stable and practical to use.
📈 Current Status of Distriator
At this stage:
- App approved by Apple ✅
- Backend verification issue resolved ✅
- Core flows stable ✅
Honestly, Distriator is in a really good shape now.
The foundation is solid.
🔄 Next Focus – Hive Data Market 🚀
Once the Apple Developer Program renewal is sorted out, we will:
👉 Shift our primary focus to Hive Data Market development.
But first, I’ll dedicate some time to resolving the Apple communication and renewal issue. That’s currently priority #1.
