for the semester.
It’s a “rock” song and some called it “metal.” I told the guitar players, “this might be the one song/moment where you know these horn guys don’t know what they are talking about.
We had two guitar players. They were proper. They headed my warnings. They acted smart and humble and professional. After it was all over I told them that song could have used two guitar players. Should have thought of it earlier.
I made lots of plans to utilize a floppy aggressive metal 5th string low note sound. I probably accomplished half. Oh well, try again.
