I have said it many times, but one of the best things I ever did was to start a pub music session that is known as the Arlesey Jammers. Out of that have come several bands and at least one music career. We have a tradition of doing an open mic at The Angel's Share in Hitchin and that happened on Sunday.
I did a couple of songs on ukulele that included the most popular one I have written and a certain classic. I took my drums along too. I performed with and then with
and
(Bob). Danielle was unable to play her clarinet, but she did a great job on the violin. Bob recorded the video on his little Zoom gadget that gets great quality.
I accompanied some other people and we had a mass jam at the end. We also had a performance from so there were plenty of Hivers there.
I took this as an opportunity to practice my video editing skills using Kdenlive. I now know a bit more about scene transitions and titles. It is a very powerful application and it is free.I use it on Ubuntu Linux, but it is available for Windows and Mac.
Merry Christmas!
