Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is doing well and trying to live a healthy life.I am a bit unwell these days. As the season is changing and the weather is shifting from winter to summer, many people are feeling sick. I have been quite ill for the past few days and have to stay in bed most of the time.That’s why I came to my village home a few days ago. As you all know, I have many kinds of gardens here.I also try to talk about them in my garden blogs. Besides that, I enjoy sharing all my feelings and experiences with you.

At our village home, we have all kinds of gardens.We can easily get different types of vegetables from our own garden whenever we want.Today, we harvested garlic from our land.Although it would have been better to harvest it a bit later, we had to do it early.A few days ago, there was heavy hailstorm in our area, which damaged many crops. Since the garlic would get spoiled in the muddy soil,we all decided to harvest it together today.

After harvesting the garlic together, we left them in the sun for a while to dry.Then, all of us arranged to clean the garlic.You can see how much garlic we collected and how we are cleaning them. Come and watch my video to see how everyone is working together to clean the garlic.There is a special joy in staying at the village home.Because you don’t have to handle everything alone everyone contributes a little, and the work gets done in a very short time. It truly feels wonderful.

Here you can see, we will store this garlic for a whole year. After cleaning them properly, we need to dry them well again under the sun. We also have to remove all the dirt from the outer layers of the garlic.When the garlic becomes completely clean and white, we will tie them in bundles and hang them on a stick for long-term storage. This way, they get enough air and light, which helps keep them good for up to a year.
