Hello, hivers! It's me again , back for another blog. Today marks the exciting beginning of a new chapter in my life – my journey towards securing a DOST scholarship! So, buckle up as I navigate the exciting yet challenging world of scholarship applications, entrance exams, and the pursuit of academic excellence. Here's to chasing dreams, defying limitations, and hopefully, inspiring others along the way!
The buzzing sound of the alarm clock pierced the morning quiet, knock me awake. A new activity to unlock and look forward to. I showered, dressed in clothes for the exam, grabbed a quick breakfast, and double-checked my bag for the DOST scholarship exam essentials. Anticipation crackled in the air – today was the day.
Reaching the mall, I'm the first one to showed up in the meeting place, but after some time my classmates arrived one by one. So, relief washed over me. Together, we walked to the jeepney station to start our day and all aiming for the same academic dream. After a quick round of pep talks and nervous laughter, we piled into a jeepney bound for Carcar.
Traffic jams can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you're on a tight schedule or just trying to relax. The minutes stretched and felt like hours, time seemed to crawl as we inched forward. Despite the frustration, a sense of companionship among my classmates kept our spirits high. We shared stories, cracked jokes, and even reviewed last-minute concepts on our phones – a testament to our determination.
After some time, finally, we arrived at the testing center. The exam itself was a blur of concentration and quick thinking. Emerging afterwards, a wave of exhaustion mingled with a cautious optimism washed over me.
Had I done enough? I surely did my best and that's enough.
Reunited with my classmates outside, the tension vanished. We take a before and after pictures and decided to go at Jollibee to eat, because our stomachs is rumbling in unison. While eating we talked about our test and the shared experience that established a deeper bond.
After eating we stay for a while to chill and then dicided to go home already. But the day wasn't over yet. Leaving Jollibee, we decided to take a stroll in the naga boardwalk because it's to early to go home.
Then, while riding in the jeepney, we took a lot of pictures because I personally love keeping memories together with the people close to my heart.
Then, unexpectedly, we bumped into our favorite teacher, Sir Mandal. Over a shared ice cream treat, we recounted the day's events, the exam fading into the background as laughter and lighthearted conversation took over. The carefree joy of that moment was a perfect counterpoint to the earlier stress.
Finally, it was truly time to head home because our mothers are already looking for us. As we walked, Sir Mandal kept talking, we listened about his experiences being a student and being a DOST scholar, overall it's a day that summarize the essence of student life - the pressure of exams, the companionship of friends, and the unexpected moments of joy that sprinkle life with laughter.
That's all for today's update. See you on my next blog and don't forget to support by reblogging and upvoting. Thank you! Bye!
