Crypto Crazy
ever since showed me the light, that is blogging on the hive blockchain, I have been the preverbal snow ball rolling down the hillside gaining momentum.
a chain reaction has occurred. for a start I have been introducing work colleagues, friends and family to Hive and the blockchain technology. driven by the revelation of true ownership of posted information free from censorship (I was already tired of the corporate social media channels selling me and my data to other corporations, governments and lord knows who else) I started straight into spreading the love by sharing some of my earth resonance music, full of glee was I, not realising i had burst into the party without an Introduction.
I received a lovely welcome, despite my neglect of protocol, and some help finding my feet.
- next I am checking out IPFS (The InterPlanetary File System) a peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol, making way for a faster, safer, and more open web.
- I look at lbp2p (a network stack running applications independent of there location).
- I check in at polkadot, enabling cross-blockchain transfers, any type of data or asset, not just tokens, it is also tokenised.
- careful, next look I can create my own blockchain using the substrate framework, hold me back this snowball is getting bigger.
Spring whoosh
I feel as if a spark had lit the blue touch paper, and I have been launched. this is another sign of spring growth, the sort of thing that happens to me this time of year, I might join new code corses, or update my neglected website, write a bunch of songs or join the blockchain and become the decentralised evangelist that my friends and family see today.
Little bit nifty
so then, its straight to audius who are aiming to offer a decentralised sort of soundcloud and then again Kings of Leon have released their album as NFT's. before I realise whats going on I have uploaded peaceful sea (one of my tracks) and minted it as aa nonfungible token,
am I tokenised now?
but wait, I don't have to feel all adrift at opensea.io , because the Hive have NFTShowroom. my next stop, and hooray I am on their whitelist as an artist. next release coming soon.
my nifty work
Where does it all end
so now I wonder wether I might have to many wallets? do I need all those exchanges? or another dozen unfinished projects to catch up on? does this mean I actually will work on my much neglected website? how will I use the audiohive.crypto domain I got?
then it struck me there is nothing to fear the whole experience of the last few weeks got me hooked and exited for all the right reasons. I felt empowered with sense of awakening. how long had I been staring at my naval? while all this happened to the internet, or did it happen on the blink of an eye? yes its the sense of community that shines from hive that is my salvation, let the snowball go, roll with it. enjoy the ride. stay on the bus.
