In the advent of the CoViD pandemic the church activities of most churches particularly here in my country got halted because the government had forbidden the mass gatherings of people.
So people now could not go to theme parks, cinemas, concerts, or places and events where people congregate including attending church so that the transmission of the CoViD virus will be prevented.
Now most churches are closed for as long as there is the pandemic and no cure or vaccine in sight then the mass gatherings of people will not be allowed. So some churches goes online but most doesn't bother to do that because they could not possibly collect donations from their members.
But the church in which I belong to had made a way for us to attend church through online means via Zoom application and private YouTube streaming. Now I have no more excuse not to attend church because of the convenience that it had brought to my spiritual life.
So now attending church is really never been so convenient and easy for me unlike in the pre-Pandemic months or years way back where a church worker would drop-by to our house to let me watch or "View" the pre-recorded church activity last week.
Since the church worker now could not really go to my home, the church minister made a way for the members to still attend church through the above stated means. Only now that my mother wouldn't try to join me even though she is a member of our church.
Now there is no way that I could really miss a topic discussed by the church minister. But now we are in a different format, the church minister doesn't make topics anymore but rather he answers questions of the church members that goes on queue or waiting time to ask their own questions regarding the bible queries that they wanted to ask.
That is now the system that my church does and I do not know if we would revert back to mass gatherings again then maybe things will change again for my church or probably just retain the system now but will do the physical gatherings as well.
