How important is research to you and what do you consider to be the most important things in life that we should do research on?
As a human being of profession teacher of art for children is inescapable for me to be in an investigative process especially of the sociocultural context in which I relate and of which I am part, that is why in a very basic way I apply the research that goes back to the Latin words "in-", which means "in" and "vestigium", which means "trace, clue. ", then the steps that make up my tracks I take when something is really of my interest based on my intuition and taste, resulting in this being my compass that allows me to obtain new learning for my own benefit and for those who wish to listen to me and follow me.
Before this vision I add the expression of Paulo Freire who points out:
I have no doubt that in this convulsive world it is important to be at the forefront in terms of the new technological era, new psychological and scientific currents that somehow allow to expand the contextual landscape, offering updated information to discern and promote new ideas and learning, which from a very particular vision I consider should be assumed with a critical thinking without indoctrination, from which the honey of its essence can be extracted without generating further conflict.
From this aspect I have realized that research in some cases is assumed as an element of power that imposes and of which I describe the following: Doubt leads to research, research to wisdom, and wisdom to power. The diatribe of this thought that arises from the deepest part of me is that when we investigate we obtain wisdom and with it there is the possibility of reaching or mobilizing many masses, to the point of exalting or destroying it.
After this panorama I have perceived in several conversations how people come to very bad terms for wanting to prove their research or ideas by imposing their vision. These cases have made me see a very dark side of the human species and of science: prepotence, arrogance, arrogance and manipulation, accompanied by supercilious and authoritarian attitudes, that behind all this what I perceive is an absolute need for recognition of oneself and others.
I bring this up because of my own experience linked to my family and work environment where on several occasions from different investigated topics such as religion, politics and health, have wanted to impose ideas, where I have had to set limits, because I consider myself a free thinker, I do not like dogmas, which may have much meaning and benefits but for me in many cases are sterile and irrational.
I believe that the ultimate goal of research is the progress or evolution of a nation and in turn of the planet, something that every time I see very far from being and among countless investigations especially those related to the field of health, what is manifesting is a trial and error after error of lèse humanité.
Faced with this scenario I believe it is necessary to encourage research on topics that can support preserve the life of everything that makes up our terrestrial ship, and the first entities called for such a mission are the family and school, spaces where the most important things of life on which we should investigate are: self-care, nutrition, sustainable living, agriculture, meditation, first aid, emotional and social intelligence, financial management, mental health, humanism, sexual education, creativity and innovation, art and millenary cultures.
Undoubtedly these are investigations that inspire social and cultural changes, all this would be a compilation of very important data that provide much wisdom for life and that could offer a better picture to the new generations which today are hypnotized by a bombardment of information and technology that manipulate the psyche influencing a behavior incongruent with what it really is to exist and live together. Then nothing better than to be ourselves our own researchers assuming the challenge of trial and error but without transgression or misrepresentation of our values and reality.

¿Qué importancia tiene la investigación para usted y cuáles considera que son las cosas más importantes de la vida sobre las que deberíamos investigar?
Como ser humano de profesión maestra de arte para niños es ineludible para mi estar en un proceso investigativo sobretodo del contexto sociocultural en el que me relaciono y del que formo parte, es por ello que de forma muy básica aplico la investigación que se remonta a las palabras en latín “in-“, que significa "en" y “vestigium”, que significa "huella, pista.", entonces los pasos que conforman mis huellas los doy cuando algo realmente es de mi interés basado en mi intuición y gusto, resultando esto ser mi brújula que me permite obtener nuevos aprendizajes en beneficio propio y para el que bien desee escucharme y seguirme.
Ante esta visión sumo la expresión de Paulo Freire que señala:
No dudo que ante el convulsivo mundo es importante estar a la vanguardia en cuanto a la nuevas era tecnológica, nuevas corrientes psicológicas y científicas que de algún modo permiten ampliar el panorama contextual, ofreciendo información actualizada para discernir y fomentar nuevas ideas y aprendizaje, la cual desde una visión muy particular considero debe ser asumida con un pensamiento crítico sin adoctrinamientos, del que se pueda extraer las mieles de su esencia sin generar mayor conflicto.
Desde este aspecto me he dado cuenta que la investigación en algunos casos es asumida como un elemento de poder que impone y del que describo lo siguiente: La duda conlleva a la investigación, la investigación a la sabiduría, y la sabiduría al poder. La diatriba de este pensamiento que surge de lo más profundo de mí, es que cuando investigamos obtenemos sabiduría y con ella existe la posibilidad de llegar o movilizar muchas masas, al punto de enaltecerla o destruirla.
Tras este panorama he percibo en diversas conversaciones como personas llegan a muy malos términos por querer demostrar sus investigaciones o ideas imponiendo su visión. Estos casos me han hecho ver un lados muy sombríos de la especie humana y de la ciencia: prepotencia, arrogancia, soberbia y manipulación, acompañadas de actitudes superazonables y autoritarias, que tras todo esto lo que percibo es una absoluta necesidad de reconocimiento de si mismo y de los otros.
Esto lo traigo a colación por experiencia propia vinculado a mi entorno familiar y laboral donde en varias ocasiones desde diferentes temas investigados como religión, política y salud, se han querido imponer ideas, donde he tenido que llegar a establecer límites, porque me considero una libre pensadora, no me gusta los dogmas, que pueden tengan mucho significado y beneficios pero que para mí en muchas ocasiones son estériles e irracionales.
Creo que el fin último de las investigaciones es el progreso o evolución de una nación y a su vez del planeta, cosa que cada vez veo muy lejos de ser y entre infinidad de investigaciones en especial las relacionadas al ambito de la salud, lo que se está manifestando es un ensayo y error tras error de lesa humanidad.
Ante este panorama creo que es necesario incentivar la investigación sobre temas que puedan sustentar preservar la vida de todo lo que conforma nuestro nave terrestre, y los primeros entes llamado para tal misión son la familia y la escuela, espacios donde las cosas más importantes de la vida sobre las que deberíamos investigar son: autocuidado, nutrición, vida sustentable, agricultura, meditación, primeros auxilios, inteligencia emocional y social, manejo de finanzas, salud mental, humanismo, educación sexual, creatividad e innovación, arte y culturas milenarias.
Sin duda son investigaciones que inspiran cambios sociales y culturales todo esto sería una recopilación de datos importantísimos que aportan mucha sabiduría para la vida y que podría ofrecer un mejor panorama ante las nuevas generaciones las cuales hoy día esta hipnotizadas por un bombardeo informativo y tecnológico que manipulan la psiquis influyendo en un comportamiento incongruente con lo que es realmente existir y convivir. Entonces nada mejor que ser nosotros mismo nuestros propios investigadores asumiendo el reto del ensayo y error pero sin transgresión ni tergiversación de nuestra valores y realidad.
