life teaches us a lot, it takes the conscious one to take note.
No matter what life throws at us when we continue to persist and put God, eventually, we will become victorious.
This brings me to a story of a brother and his friends who happen to graduate from my high school then.
He's an intelligent type and has always longed to study engineering in a Tertiary Institution.
After graduation from high school, the next thing is to seek admission into a tertiary institution.
They all decided to pick the tertiary institution of their choice but sometimes life will not always go as planned.
Every other person got admitted but this particular brother was not given the admission he wanted.
Here in my country the required exam to get admitted into a tertiary institution JAMB( Joint Admission and matriculation board) is always taken once a year and so he has no other choice but to wait for the coming year while others had been admitted already.
The following year came he tried to give it all he got but still was not admitted due to some reason of not giving his preferred course.
As the exam is written once a year he decided to wait for the coming year which will be the third time of trial.
Now others are already in year 3 and most of them are close to graduating.
He did not see all these as distractions but kept his perseverance level and closeness to God at one hundred percent and so he waited for this third year to try again.
He wanted an engineering course but this time he was offered a course close to engineering and with this, he decided to decline the admission.
Now, most people began to talk back at his choice of declining saying he has stayed too long to decline such admission. He didn't see that as discouragement but decided to try it one last time.
Though he was becoming fed up with the situation but once you've got perseverance and God the only thing you see ahead is success.
And this fourth time he tried it and he was given his required course and after a year in the tertiary school due to his intelligence his result was nominated as part of the people worthy of scholarship and he was awarded a scholarship.
This brings me to share this story in this week's abundance tribe biweekly questions about the most valuable lesson have learned.
Life is not meant to be traveled backward whatever we intend to get we can always get it. It only depends on our level of perseverance and closeness to God.
Perseverance is the choice to keep doing what you do even if achieving success might look blurred.
Looking at the story of this brother he kept persisting and a close relationship with God, eventually got the success he has always craved for and not just success but a good success because he was given a scholarship.
One thing I learned from this about life is perseverance plus God in any ramification gives success.
