These days every dutchie with a tv has a chance to watch the race, for free. This is because Ziggo said that every person in Holland must have the chance to see this win for the first time in dutch history. I think that tomorrow the streets will be quiet and this time not because ofthe covid rules, but because we won.
What am I talking about? Well this weekend 1-,11 and 12 december 2021 ( for me tomorrow, it’s Saturday evening here now when I am writing this ) it’s the Grand Prix final and our Max Verstappen can become world champion ! For those of you that follow me, and read my blogs know that I always watch with the family and friends. And we follow everything. My son knows everything and even drives the circuits online.
I will say we are all so nervous. We saw 5000 dutchies travel to either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and they will be at the race. I wish I had the money to send my men to the last race this year and hopefully see Max win from Lewis.
… but this is the next best thing.
I can imagine that you aren’t a formula one lover so maybe I need to give some extras to keep you safe when you are in
a convo about who will win this special F1.
The boys have their max - red bull shirts ready for tomorrow.
And I will try to make a vlog about the track when my son drives it online.
Friday it started in Abu Dhabi on the circuit called Yas Marina, where Max was number one, but that was training and getting to know the circuit, so nice but not as important as today. There was a second training on Friday in the afternoon my time. Today it was serious and the driver that did the fastes round on the circuit can start on the first place ( called pole position ) tomorrow.
The drivers that are in top 5 are : Our Max Verstappen, than you have Lewis Hamilton , Valtteri Bottas , Lando Norris, Sergio Perez. Ofcourse there are more drivers. I believe 20 in total. A lot of times it’s not the amount of drivers and cars that will make it to the final lap or even finish. Its racing and the fact that this happens also makes racing very great to watch.
Its Mercedes and Honda that have the best cars, and currently have the best place in the ranking. For the record Lewis drives the Mercedes. Max the Honda, and red bull as sponsor. So when you drink red bull like me you know the team, the caps and car for sure. Our kids have caps and poloshirts with all the sponsors. Also Jumbo supermarkets, the one we go to for our groceries is also one of the big sponsors from Max.
We know that Max knows this track and today when he won the qualification we weren’t surprised, but it doesn’t mean it’s a done race. Lewis has been champion so many times so is a speeding force to recon with. Max will start as number 1 tomorrow, and than he has a great chance to become the Dutch first world champion.
BUT again I have to say mister Lewis Hamilton is soooooo good aswell. But as a good dutchie and fan, I say that on
12 - 12 - 2021
he will be number one.
