So, what is all this about Sim Racer's Edge and the Dallara IR-18?? Sim Racer's Edge (SRE) is an online racing league using the iRacing simulation software.. Currently, the league's premier series uses the Dallara IR-18 IndyCar.. iRacing shot to new heights during the pandemic while all sports were on a hiatus.. The ability for a racing simulation to provide entertainment and continue to reach audiences was a revelation, showing sponsors that even virtual racing had a place in their portfolio of target audiences.. Drivers from all over the world and all forms of racing have flocked to the service, with world-wide known racing stars such as Josef Newgarden, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and others touting the services viability for both training, fun, and interaction with the fan base..
