Just moss and spores are all that's there

I'd like to submit some macro images that I took earlier this afternoon during a walk. Is it just moss? Yeah, just moss, after all. They are quite simple subjects because they are seen here and there, and they seem to have piqued my interest. The moss appears to be unremarkable at first glance. But there was something more in there, too: slender, fragile spores protruding like sprouts, as well as a small fern, which is why I wanted to capture that.
