Carter reached out to me several years ago about doing a photo shoot...

but the timing wasn't right but we finally got the stars to align in May of 2024.

Carter came from Nashville, Tennessee out to Utah to do the photo shoot. She's a well established aerial artist and competes in high caliber competitions for pole and aerial arts all over the world. I was honored to work with her and create some amazing images on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. The weather was pretty good for sunset but it took a bit for the clouds to clear out for the stars, but we finally got some clear skies right at the end.

Started with some blue skies and a sparkly suit on the pole. (Click to view large)

Then sunset. I usually try to avoid shooting into the sun unless it's a crazy awesome sunset. This one was just ok. The clouds during blue hour really put on a show and we really got some great photos.
