I often mention my mum's garden. And I have a good reason for it!
It seems messy and a bit unattended when you first look at it. But it all on purpose. To make it look a little bit wild and let the plants do their thing. Many of the annuals sow themselves and regrow where they want.
Bushes are planted around to give shade and some constant texture. Flowers are planted in a way, that there is always something in bloom. When one is fading, another one starts to open.
And then you have those tall trees around that give shade and create that cozy feel.
So I grab my camera and go shoot whatever I can find. I can sit down on a rock and become almost invisible.
And if it wasn't for the neighbours houses around and a busy road right behind the fend, you'd think you are somewhere far far away... in a different world.
